Want your business to go somewhere? Get a map.Thinking about marketing strategy isn't easy when you're dealing with the day-to-day excitement of running a business. That's where I come in. |
Marketing Consulting
Audience Audit helps companies develop highly targeted marketing strategies. I provide strategic planning, marketing and business development consulting.
Strategic Planning
Sometimes my clients have their own marketing team, but are looking for some additional strategic support. My experience in entrepreneurship, advertising, strategic planning, category management and interactive marketing all combine to allow me some perspective on marketing opportunities that your organization may not have on your own.
I can offer ongoing marketing strategy, working with your internal team if you have one. I can also offer periodic consulting — quarterly, for example — to guide your entire organization’s leadership team through a formalized strategic planning process and ensure your organization stays on track with your goals amidst the demands of day-to-day operations.
I develop marketing plans — both as a first-time initiative and as an annual strategic planning activity — and can provide resources to support those activities that I don’t specialize in, such as graphic design and website development.
Marketing Support
A number of my clients use my services to augment their existing marketing teams for day-to-day activities — developing website content, writing blog posts, developing sales and marketing support materials, and various other activities that keep a business moving forward. In these situations I not only provide strategic guidance but help carry the load of everyday tactical marketing work that simply needs doing. That includes reaching out to a great network of outstanding resources who do what I don’t – graphic design, website development, search engine optimization, and other specialties.
Audience Segmentation Research
In marketing, relevance drives results. This has only become more true with the adoption of highly personalized (and potentially intrusive) media such as email. The need to message in a highly relevant way led me to attitudinal audience segmentation research.
