I started as a paper and pen mapper and then learnt to use digital mapping. I now have two tools which I can use to map, I am able to select the most appropriate for the task and situation where I am working.
I the last week I have been looking at and review mobile digital mapping in different situations.
I personally use iMindMap as it is simply the best mind mapping software and it is the only software which follows the researched and proven guidelines which were originated by Tony Buzan.
For those interested in Business Mapping and the uses of Mind Mapping in Business then I suggest having a look at the new Mind Maps in Business book by Tony Buzan and Chris Griffiths.
I am a Buzan licensed instructor and master trainer.

Well the nice thing about doing it with a program like this is it's easy to continue tweaking it, adding things and moving things around. One of the problems I ALWAYS have with the pen-and-paper model is I run out of room on the paper. One of the nice things about MindNode is it expands automatically, and then when you print it automatically sizes for the page.

I've done good old-fashioned pen-and-paper mind mapping, but I've actually never tried mind-mapping software. You mentioned it the other day, and I was going to ask what you used, but now I don't have to! Thanks for the info - these are some great suggestions!
