Wow, is about all I can say (or type).... the speakers were top notch. I've worked for corporate 50 companies and the speakers yesterday bypassed anyone I've had the privilege of hearing (maybe we should have held up score cards after the presentation like the Olympics???) so kidding. Each one 10++++++
The facility was great and the food was yummy.

You each lifted my spirits and I hope we keep this thing alive and I'd love to be of service at the next event (clean-up, tear-down, whatever).
It was also great have "Doc" (can't remember her name and too lazy to hunt down my notes) from City of Phoenix drive clear across the valley to share with us, last minute. I'm going to take a peak at what she presented. As I tried to articulate when Pam was presenting, the longer I'm a way from work and professionals; I'm losing my vocabulary and ability to speak. :-)

You all ROCKED!!! Geez, I joined tweeter Saturday night and now you can't shut me up.

Thanks so much guys! It was a very rewarding event for me to participate in, too. I hope we can help them lift their spirits and find new opportunities. Thanks for your support and kind words!

Susan,

LaidOffCamp was a success due to the caliber of speakers involved in the event. The space was wonderful as well.

Thanks for sharing your slides. I thought your presentation was dead on for the audience and very relevant to help people move forward. You met them where they were and gave them hope to move forward one step at a time.

It was a pleasure sitting in your session. I plan to check out many of the people and sites you recommend here.

I look forward to meeting again soon.

I've heard great reviews about LaidOffCamp already, Susan. Kudos to you for sharing your hard-earned experience and advice.

Especially thank you for including my personal branding blog post in your presentation. As someone who, like you, was laid off recently and took the opportunity to start the business I'm passionate about, I wrote about personal branding from personal experience. I hope it will help others in the same situation.

FYI, there's a typo in my Twitter handle in your presentation: It's @EdTankersley. People seem to be finding me, anyway!
